Redfish remain the focus given big winds and ugly water. At present, Redfish are pretty ragged out with huge tide fluctuations and unstable water levels. They are ranging greatly in an effort to get into a comfortable water depth to facilitate feeding. Trout are buried in Nigerian Garhole conditions with the exception of some mud-runners working mud pockets along with Redfish.
 
You’ve definitely gotta be hardcore right now to battle the wind like Archie and Judy S. from Georgetown. Archie celebrated his 69th birthday with his wife Judy here at The Lodge. They flipped their hats around backwards and strapped on some ear muffs to work the back country by airboat. This pair of get-it-on grinders managed to limit on Redfish including oversized to 30” along with a bonus drum in winds busting the radar in a school zone.
 
Lodge News
We welcome the Mel S. party from Lubbock for a two day trip along with the “bad boys and girls” from the oil patch for a two day trip; and the Eric S. party.

just finished hitting welders with james, thanks a bunch, james had to work pretty hard to get us back there, inspite of strong winds no water,james still put us on the fish, Mark & Trish had never been with a guide ,both had a great time a will surely return for more, Thanks James you did great job today, limits for all , hope to see again soon. Brian
