Due to limited booking dates and space at Castaway Lodge, the following Company Policy is effective August 1st, 2007. Castaway Lodge can book only a limited number of parties on any one date, we operate on a scheduling structure based upon occupancy and availability of our Guides. Strict adherence to this policy is required to maintain appropriate Guide assignments and maximum occupancy at our facility. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you soon!
Definitions:
Booking: contacting our office to schedule a trip, confirming a date and party size, making deposit arrangements by phone or e-mail.
Notice: contacting our office to advise us of an alteration to the original “booking”.
Company Policy, Bookings, Cancellations, Rescheduling, Refunds
Trip Booking:
Bookings are based on the group total in the party.
Deposits are based on the total trip cost.
50% of total trip cost is required on booking.
Booking within 30 days, party size and trip cost is fixed.
Cancellations & Notice:
30 days or more, party size may be adjusted, deposit may be applied to balance.
Within 30 days, no cancellations are allowed, trip cost and balance are fixed.
Rescheduling & Notice:
Dates and trip plans usually occur 2 weeks to a month in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot allow last minute re-scheduling for any reason that leaves us unable to fill the vacated date.
14 days or more Notice, trip may be rescheduled and deposits transferred.
Notice within 14 days, deposits are forfeited.
Refunds:
Notice, 30 days or more, fully refundable.
Notice, 30 days or less, non-refundable
