Hot fishing with similar temps and windy conditions typical of August have yielded some solid Redfish action along with some nice Trout. We're for sure heading for a cool front and it's just around the corner heading for September. Ah, September, the month for some awesome Trout fishing over shell reefs in upper SAB; Dove and Teal Openers; Wild Texas Alligator hunting; and, Grain Season hogs and varmint high rack safari style or baited blinds with awesome Night Viz optics.
So we're blessed to live in this great State and that's just the beginning of the Fall Spectacle.
Bay Side of Life
Jim Grier and guests had some great luck fishing with Capt. James Cunningham working mud/grass for limits of Redfish and some solid Trout with live bait. Moving to a 6 boat field with guests of Prime Controls who was back for their 2nd trip in a month, our A Team of guides hit some productive afternoon action on Redfishing topping the 30"+ mark (released).
Alligator Hunting (Texas Wild)
In discussing the schedule, we still have 09/14, 18, 19, 21, 24, and 26 thru 30th available for hunts at this time. So we've still got some room if you're looking to make a hunt. These trips easily combine with some awesome fishing and wing shooting for early Teal and/or Dove.
Airboat Redfishing Trips
Cooler Septebmer and October temps make this trip an absolute dream run and you'll get a look at the Texas back lakes and marshes like you've never seen before. We'll be looking for solid schools of Redfish to tighten up a bit working over migrating bait hatches on mud/grass.
Flounder Gigging Report
Stick n move is the program with wind shifts setting up solid flatties for the big run to the Gulf. Dates are getting pretty active on these trips so give us a shout for scheduling.
On The Horizon
Inland locations are being worked over and cleaned up for water catch and release as we head for inbound Teal migrations. The big flocks will be hitting our area at night and one day there won't be much to talk about and then the next thing you know is whistling wings. We've still got Cast & Blast dates available. We'll be moving on solid Texas Alligators at about the same time and we're looking for another great season.
